I’ve always believed in our own bodies’ ability to fight colds and viruses, fever being one of them. I don’t take antibiotics except in extreme situations. I don’t use fever reducers either, except if the fever is 104 or higher. I happen to know someone who suffered brain damage from running a fever that was too high, so I keep a close eye on how high it goes. Some bodies are more okay to run a high fever than others, but knowing who that is can be difficult.
